The Height of Jack Russell Dogs The Jack Russell and Parson Russell Terriers are ostensibly the same in character aside from the short limbs and narrower chest of the Jack Russell. Preferably the Jack Russell Dogs can stand between 25-30cm (10-12″) in height, a bit taller than a Maltese, which is just a little a bit longer than it is tall. Although slim, the chest is large even though the shortened legs should still accommodate sufficient clearance. The eyes will appear well aware, the jaws deep, broad and also robust and the coat is predominantly white colored with black, tan or brown colored markings.
